Sifter is an independent publication launched in July 2023 by Raymond Joseph Friend Jr. This site is intended to serve as a technical blog on various topics ranging from tech, mathematics, machine learning, games, linguistics, etc.

I am a PhD candidate at Penn State University in Mathematics. I study Computability Theory, Logic, and applications to Fractal Geometry. I am also interested in Machine Learning, Quantum Computing, and Computer Science. Hyperlinked is my personal page with more information me.
